Steps on how to make your own tie dye shirt:
1.PUT GLOVES ON-NOW!
2.Cover your work surface with plastic (which is usually provided in your kit) or a
trash bag.
3.Mix your dye-a little goes a long way. Use just a little bit of the powder included in
your kit, and fill your bottle with water. SHAKE IT BABY!
4.Lay out your shirt on your work surface and spray both sides with water.
5.Pinch your shirt wherever you would like your spiral to be and twist. Keep twisting
and feathering out the shirt until it is wrapped up neatly.
6.Secure the shirt using rubber bands.
7.Be creative! Use any colors you want to create YOUR shirt. Have fun!!
8.Let your shirt sit for about 8 hours for maximum dye penetration
9.Rinse your shirt using warm water until the water runs clear.
10.Put your shirt in the washing machine using the largest load water setting with
just a little bit of detergent, and dry.
11.Enjoy! You just made a wearable piece of art!!
